Episode 1 – The Booby Scare

It’s Oct.1 – Breast Cancer Awareness month! The ‘Save A Tit’ campaign begins with the  launch of The Booby Scare, written/produced by Jaime King and Taryn Southern and sponsored by Her Energy.

Directed by Steve Carr (Mall Cop, Dr. Doolittle 2), Booby Scare stars the lovely Jaime King (Sin City, Pearl Harbor), Emily Deschanel (Spiderman 2, Bones), Minka Kelly (Friday Night Lights, 500 Days of Summer), Katherine McPhee (American Idol, House Bunny), and Alyson Hannigan (How I Met Your Mother, American Pie.) Everyone had a great time – thanks to all who were involved!

  1. hey, that’s one hell of a video- i like it!

    My family also has a history of breast cancer and (naturally) i’m in a high risk level- but i’m not afraid, i’m trying to be prepared for it. Thanks for bringing attention to the subject!!

  3. not to rain on anyones parade, but there is ongoing controversy regarding breast exams and breast cancer screenings. most cancer organizations today do not recommend self breast exams since they do not decrease deaths from breast cancer. http://www.mayoclinic.com/health/breast-exam/MY00743

    Some organizations also advocate later mammography screenings at age 50 to reduce x-ray radiation induced cancers. this is all from the viewpoint of looking at a population, if one is in a high risk group, normal rules do not apply and special care must be taken.

    maybe general breast cancer awareness is a more appropriate idea?
